Fundamentals,是基础之意，单看名字，就应该能知道个大概，这个早教碟是介绍给宝宝很多很多的基础认知内容。宝宝的大脑一片空白，就象海绵一样能不断的吸取展现在他面的的各种内容。不得不说，Fundamentals是Lilia家里使用过的早教碟片内容最丰富的一张碟，单词，发音，组词，数字，点数，颜色，形状，对比等等概念浓缩在一张碟内，标志性的可爱卡通小星星贯穿其中。在碟片的画面里，会出现创办人之一的Milissa 面带微笑，以清晰明朗的声音和语气，活泼起伏的语速向小朋友介绍碟片里所出现的画页知识，配已Milissa母亲原创的背景音乐促进小朋友对知识的理解和吸收。

Fundamentalsis the first video in its series. The video provides basic tools for a child to make sense of her new world. Its contents include: letters, numbers, quantity, colors, the body, opposites, verbs, prepositions, music and much more. Animals, household items, and objects found outdoors are also introduced to help the child relate to her immediate environment.

Fundamentls是这系列的第一集，这张碟片带给孩子来认识眼前世界感觉的基本工具。内容包括：字母，数字，数量，颜色，身体，对比，动词，前置词，音乐等等，动物，家庭组成，户外的事物也在片中介绍，让孩子们更好的认识和他们接触的环境。

In reading,Fundamentalsintroduces letter names and phonetics (the building blocks of speech), and builds to simple words. In math, Fundamentals Volume 1 explores numbers and counting, and shapes. Parts of the body are named and counted; animals and plants are also counted. The video teaches trapezoids and other shapes, which are included in many baby puzzles on the market. The video shows the 3-dimensional versions of many shapes, such as the cube (for the square), and the sphere (for the circle). Young children are very interested in the movements of these shapes, which are also highlighted in this video. At the beginning of the video, a flashlight helps an infant to see "up and down", "diagonal", "smaller and bigger", etc. There is a little section on opposites, such as taller and shorter.

在阅读方面，Fundamentals介绍了字母的名字和发音(这是组成说话的)，并构造成简单的单词。在数学方面，Fundamentals第一集探索了数字，点数和形状。身体的各部位的名称和计数。动物和植物也涉及。碟片也教梯形和其它的形状，这在市面上许多宝宝拼图里都有包括的。碟片里以三维立体空间介绍许多形状，比如立方体(对正方形)和球体(对圆形)。小朋友对这些形状的变化运动十分感兴趣，这也是本碟片的亮点。在碟片的开场 ，一个手电筒发出来的光帮助宝宝明白“上和下”“对角线”“更小和更大”等等的概念。还有小部分关于对比概念，比如高和矮。
