Fundamentals,是基础之意，单看名字，就应该能知道个大概，这个早教碟是介绍给宝宝很多很多的基础认知内容。宝宝的大脑一片空白，就象海绵一样能不断的吸取展现在他面的的各种内容。不得不说，Fundamentals是Lilia家里使用过的早教碟片内容最丰富的一张碟，单词，发音，组词，数字，点数，颜色，形状，对比等等概念浓缩在一张碟内，标志性的可爱卡通小星星贯穿其中。在碟片的画面里，会出现创办人之一的Milissa 面带微笑，以清晰明朗的声音和语气，活泼起伏的语速向小朋友介绍碟片里所出现的画页知识，配已Milissa母亲原创的背景音乐促进小朋友对知识的理解和吸收。
一开始，Milissa首先向小朋友介绍12个各式各样，不同颜色的小星星，是Fundamentals的角色，活泼可爱的小星星跳舞的画面绝对是吸引小朋友眼球的亮点。Fundamentals另一与其它早教品牌与从不同的是Milissa的一直出现在画面的左上角，用着欢快，悦耳，起伏，标准的美音向小朋友介绍各种知识，一个概念，会有重复描述，加深小朋友的印象，更好地对概念的了解和掌握。
很多家长都想让小朋友学英语，原版碟片是很好的选择，而Fundamentals又是其中的最佳选择。为什么这样说呢？是因为Fundamentals本身就是给美国小朋友看的母语，促进说话清楚的认知碟，不同于其它的早教碟片，Fundamntals全片至始至终Milissa都在用标准的美音配合画面，伴随着原创的音乐，向小朋友介绍各种知识，所以看过Fundamentals能让小朋友从接触到很多单词，并在脑海里留下深深的印象，这也就不难想象Milissa女儿15个月大时已能清晰的说出200多个单词。越小开始看，就会越早理解和掌握。

因为Fundamentals的内容多，所以6个月的宝宝刚开始看第一集时可能会出现看几分钟就不看的现象，这很正常，因为宝宝的注意力集中力也就只有那几分钟，出现这种情况作为家长千万不要将电视关掉，继续播放片子，宝宝的耳朵在听，也在吸收，Milissa的旁白绝对悦耳动听，听多了，对宝宝对英语的语音，语感，语境，语速有很大的帮助。每天给宝宝看一次或者听一次Fundamentals，等到宝宝能开口说话表达时，小时候看过Fundamentals的优势，就会展现出来。

Fundamentals 2is the second level of our educational video series. It builds upon many concepts introduced inFundamentalsand adds additional subjects for higher order thinking.

In reading,Fundamentals 2reinforces letter recognition and phonetic letter sounds. Little words are formed phonetically, and built into simple sentences. Reading comprehension is demonstrated through a story about a cat and her friends, which is turned into a series of questions. The video introduces pre-writing by showing the strokes needed to form letters.

In math, little green star and his friends demonstrate geometry, addition and subtraction, sets of 10s, music and more. "Twinkle, twinkle little star" is used to teach the children rhythm and pitch. Thinking games include matching and categorization of objects and four types of analogies (including comparing objects and their function, and opposites). In science, animals are compared through their main body parts. Vegetables and fruits are explained as plants, parts of plants, and food.
